Bodegas A Coroa is one of the most outstanding references of the Denomination of Origin Valdeorras, in the east of Ourense. Specializing in the production of white wines from the Godello variety, the winery combines century-old viticulture tradition with a contemporary focus on precision and sustainability.
Its vineyards — many of them located on slate slopes and mineral soils — allow for obtaining grapes with great aromatic concentration and natural balance. Altitude and Atlantic influence contribute freshness and complexity, elements that define the characteristic personality of their wines.
In the winery, the work focuses on preserving the purity of the variety and the origin of Godello, with controlled fermentations and a very measured use of lees aging. The result are wines that are elegant, deep and long-lived, recognized as some of the best representatives of Godello in Galicia.
