Arganda Winery is a winery founded in the 1940s. In 2002, it moved its facilities to a new space, which has allowed it to integrate all the necessary technical advances in the winemaking process to produce modern wines that cater to the tastes of today’s consumer. Temperature-controlled fermentation, pneumatic presses, and an aging hall with controlled temperature and humidity capable of holding 2,000 barrels, mostly American oak with medium toast.
The vineyards are over 30 years old and are located on sedimentary soil formations, mainly limestone, predominant in the subzone of Arganda del Rey. The soils have a sandy or sandy-loam texture. The vineyards are between 600 and 650 meters above sea level, as they are located in the center of the plateau that forms the Castilian plateau.
